Cherry has been confirmed that all licensing applications for online gaming and betting have been approved by the Swedish Gambling Authority. From January 1, 2019, eight brands within its online gaming business area will be able to offer gaming and betting in the Swedish market.
“Although the license application involved a significant amount of work, we are confident that Sweden’s regulations provide better conditions for game operators, our customers as well as our company and therefore our shareholders. Sweden is an important market and we will continue to grow in an already strong position,” says Gunnar Lind, Cherry’s chairman and CEO.
“ComOn is offering games to its customers under a variety of brands and has decided to apply for licenses from companies that operate brands targeting the Swedish market,” says Lahcene Merzoug, Comeon’s business area manager and president. “ComOn currently holds game licenses in several European countries, so we have experience operating with Sweden’s requirements.”
In addition to operating online casinos, Cherry is currently one of a handful of operators offering land-based commercial games in Sweden. The Cherry Restaurant Casino business zone has been licensed since its establishment in 1963, and the re-regulation of the Swedish gaming market has allowed Cherry Spelleze to increase its stake in table, card and dice games and further expand its service. Cherry Spelleze has submitted more than 270 licensing applications for land-based commercial games to the Swedish Gambling Authority, allowing it to replace its current gaming permit in the new year. Each license is for gaming venues, or premises where Cherry Spelleze provides games.
Licensed to online gaming and betting effective January 1, 2019, trademarks include Cascinostugan, Cherry Casino, Come On, Hajifer, Mobil Automaten, Snabaret and two partner brands.카지노사이트
