Soongsil University and Daegu Arts University won the group stage and stepped on the tournament stage.
Sungsil University, led by head coach Park Sung-bae, won 7-0 in the third Group 4 match between the military commander and Baekdudae in the 59th Autumn Football Federation match held at Goowon 1 Stadium in Taebaek, Gangwon-do, on the 15th. Soongsil University, which defeated Incheon University (2-1 win) and Wideok University (1-0 win), secured three wins in the group stage and settled in the round of 16.
Daegu Ye University, the “defending champion” led by head coach Lee Chang-won, also won the group stage, while Daegu Ye University beat Daeshin University (3-2 wins), Donggang University (4-0 wins), and Nambu University (4-1 wins) to confirm its advance to the round of 16.
The tournament draw was completed after the group stage, and on the 18th, Kwangwoon University, Konkuk University, Daeshin University, Gangseo University, Halla University and Catholic Kwandong University, Jeonju University, Ulsan University, Incheon University, Shinseong University, Hanil University, and Myeongji University will advance to the round of 16.
